The IRIS is a 2/3rd's scale version of the famous IRIS rocket built by the Atlantic Research Corporation under contract from the rocket group of the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).
I had originaly planned to build a Skylark, but in the end I had more information about the IRIS, and I have already flown a smaller IRIS for many years under J and K power.
Level 3 documentation submitted that has construction details and images of the rocket is given below.

The rocket's first flight at KLOB2005 was not successful. Too much ejection charge at apogee caused separation and seriouse damage. The second flight at IRW2007 was very successful and I achived level 3 certification at last. Some images and video of both flights are below. The images of take off at KLOB 2005 were taken by Ben Jarvis and are excellent!!

Bothe flights were on the limit of full M to comply with UKRA regulations. A Core M1010 Hyperket hybrid motor with 2 x I285 outboard solid motors ignited at launch. Each flight has a Mustek digital video camera to record the flight.
